Julio Mambo was a famous international music star as a child. When his voice changed, his fame disappeared along with that high-pitched tone in which he sang summer, girls, sweets and luck. His cousin Gustavo triumphs with his YouTube channel playing covers and interpreting his own romantic songs, although nobody knows what he looks like. He has always been very shy and is not interested in fame. Together, they will try to return to the front line of music. Along the way, they will face hood rappers, corrupt agents and groups with murderous instincts.

Julio was an international child star until he stopped being a child. Today he is a loser who refuses to accept that he has hit rock bottom. He discovers that his cousin Gustavo is an internet star and sees it as his last chance to become a star again.
Mambo cousins are very different but now they have a common goal: music. They look for and find Toni, who will become their peculiar representative and who records their first single.
The Mambo go to a sketchy neighborhood in search of inspiration to compose a trap. There they meet Angelito, an old thug who scared Gustavo as a child and who, from now on, will become the group's bodyguard.
Toni the manager convinces Julio and Gustavo to go to an influencers party. There they meet PepiPlay8584, a youtuber with millions of followers that, according to Julio, has shamelessly copied him.
Gustavo's relationship with Candela is growing stronger, something that will create friction between the two Mambo cousins. Julio, not to be outdone, starts dating María, a short groupie who is always riding on a fruit cart.
After the group’s breakup, Julio and Gustavo start solo careers: Julio has achieved fame as the presenter of a children's program in which he sings children’s songs and does crafts.
