Eliseo is a lonely man obsessed with the image of a woman he sees every day on his projector on a roll of celluloid. After an accident that destroys the tape, his only connection to her, Eliseo decides to go on a journey to find the woman he has fallen in love with in the most remote and depressed places in the Dominican Republic.
