The Human Thing

A young delinquent, with the pretensions of a writer, steals a manuscript from a prominent storyteller, his masterpiece. The petty thief, desperately in need of money, masks the tale and sends it off to a contest. Unknowingly, the thief and the writer become rivals, each competing for the prize in their own way.
